//This drawing refers to a memory in Itoshima, during my second artist in residence at Studio Kura (Japan, 2025). This sunny afternoon I turned 33 and biked to this shrine and later to Fukae Beach. Close to this shrine is where I met my friends in Itoshima at Guesthouse Tabi no En during my first residency in Itoshima in 2024, and would meet them again the following year: Naomi, Mayu, Kumiko, Nakagawa-san and Michi! //
